Many thanks to Todd for giving his blessing to "re-use" his original concept and design from #024 for this Artisan Master. However, unlike the first one, Todd wasn't kind enough to inlay all the stars on the fretboard and headstock! Man that's a ton of work!!!

Guitars as art. That is a phrase that is thrown around a lot. Sometimes positive, occasionally with negative connotations.

I feel it is safe to say that #157 certainly qualifies as an art guitar. Why not? It has beautiful colors. The materials used are exotic and eye catching. The design is pleasing. When I think of Hot Rod cars, I think of two types:
1 - The super clean resto-mod that looks bad to the bone in the cleaming sun. Lots of chrome and a hot paintjob.
2 - The open wheel Rat Rod in primer gray with a stroker that will pin you back with the tap of the pedal.

Paul's new Jr-90 Hot Rod is both of these. It looks incredible with it's platinum back and sleek "over and under" flames, yet it still has a touch of that primer gray vibe. The '86s...
