A little more news from the amp show! I was going through my hotmail junkmail and noticed on the bottom (one day away from expiring and being lost forever) an email that said "Line 6 Spider Valve Winner!". I had passed it over as junkmail for the last week, but something clicked and I remembered that there was a giveway at the ampshow I had signed up for. I opened the email and sure enough, I had won the new line 6 Spider Valve 212 amp which is a collaboration between Bogner doing...

Great show, really was blown away by all the new Jr. 90 models that all look even better in person. At the end of the show,(after Olin's concert length jam ), I asked Big Mike to demonstrate the new Jr. 90 Humbuckers and they sounded great and hung with the WCR Goodwood bridge in Mike's Thorn #140, although they were all quite different. I preferred the lower...

Not as much as you John...

I just want to point out that EVERY year John is ALWAYS there helping tear everthing down at the end of the night. You don't have to ask, he just does. Sounds like it was same old same old at the amp show.

Before this gets lost....

Besides "E's" rippin' cool poster, jamess also brought the East Coast posters. Very cool, and a huge thanks to everyone for their part. This includes all the owners with the vision and good sense to go to Ron to have the guitars on the poster built.

Ha, I forgot you saw those drawings Matt. I've had the concept for this in my mind for a year once I gave up trying to source paisley paper. Finally had a chance to draw it up and ink it a couple months ago. The koi's are delicately thin chrome foil between the color coat and the clear top coats of lacquer.
Gold koi over black, gold koi over candy apple red, blue koi over olympic white...so many posibilities.
