Wow...I don't have the words to do this justice. That is going to be one awesome guitar from the burst on the body to the incredible inlay work. Wow!!!

OH...MY....GOD! I know it gets used around here so often, and rightly so, but THAT is a work of art. Even in its individual pieces. The finished work might
require that oxygen be available for the unveiling.

I think it's going to look stunning when it all comes together. I really like the parrot inlays with the gold fretwire. "Go big, or go home"

Routing the fiber optics down through the neck joint must have been stupidly complicated. Looking great!

It required a zen like state for me. Turn off the phones, turn off the Stereo, meditate for a couple minutes, go to the restroom, make sure all the stars were
aligned...then glue it in.
I couldn't check to see if the fibres all still worked until the neck day when I took it out of the jig. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep that night. All went well, I spent the whole day assembling it. I should "hear" it tomorrow...woo hoo! Thanks as always Mike, you are the best! |

That's really coming together nicely. One of the things about this one that impresses me the most is how it can incorporate so much bling, and still look
so classy. I suspect that many other luthiers would have made a mess of all this, so my hat's off to you Sen~or Thorn.

Ron,
Just curious, if something wasn't working properly and you had to pull the neck....What issues would have been caused? In other words, what would have had to be fixed to make "the fix"? Did that make any sense?

Hey Dan | ||

Hi Dan. Thanks for the kind words. I too had concerns about it being to busy, as Ron and I talked through the build the order sheet looked like a war zone lol.
I Think it turn out perfect for my liking not only that but my Boss (my wife) she gave Ron and the team thumbs up. I'M STOKED!!!!
