And we're movin' on up.... |

...vertically that is. Here a shot of my brother and my uncle adding a 200 sq. ft. "loft" in the back corner of the shop today. It will be done
tomorrow, then comes the moving of all the raw lumber up to it. It will act as the "hot room" since it'll be an extra 8ft higher too. Can't
wait, it will really open up the floor space. If anyone's been to the shop lately, they know it's getting very congested. A couple months ago I
purchased enough mahogany, black limba, and korina for approximately the next 8 years of guitar building. That's a crap load of lumber, but I figured I
should get it while I can. I didn't anticipate just how much space a few hundred body blanks and such takes up...about 200 sq. feet I hope

Very cool Ron! That will definitely open some much needed room. What do you plan on doing with the extra 200 sq. feet?

I also feel a couple more "Horizontal Sh!t Collectors" will find their way into the shop....aka work benches. That...or a dance floor ;-P Ron |

I walked by and suggested Ron to build a sound-proof "guitar testing room" at the corner.
I took back my suggestion immediately. Because I think Ron will "test guitars" in the room all day long, everyday...... |

Ah, expansion of the Yeti cave is always a good thing. Though, I heard that the extra space was for more Dr. Pepper storage...

Cool!
Heh, heh, just make sure you take into consideration how much all that wood is gonna weigh! That new hot room is gonna be one heavy loft. |

Cool Ron. Smart idea getting wood now. Things are getting weird about some woods and I think Mahogany might be the "new" braz soon. And we
wouldn't want you to start making guitars out of plastic

Great score Ron & Co! No doubt this is some spectacular Mahogany, Limba, and Korina! You always do seem to pick/get the creamiest of the crop! All of
that lumber will be pretty heavy up there (esp. if still moist), nothing wrong with fortifying the loft flooring & supportage. Would hate for the Yeti or
any of the Team Yeti members to have any sort of injury.
So this is where the Yeti goes when he's in the doghouse ehhhh? Pilar, don't get any ideas! Once again, Ron, SMOKIN'!!! Simply SMOKIN'!!!
