#128 has Schaller strap locks, just like my Tele, which are my personal favorite. Like my Tele used to do, one of the buttons works itself loose. After several attempts of fussing with my Tele, I finally fixed it with a dab of super-glue. What is the "right" way to fix the problem? |

I asked Ron a similar question regarding how to fix my loose screw holes on my Strat bolt-on necks. Ron said I need to glue some small pieces of woods into the holes, then re-drill the holes if necessary.

+1 I use a wooden toothpick or two. I dip them in glue and stick them in the screw hole, and snap them off just below level with the top of the hole. Then, before it dries, I screw in the strap-lock button. The toothpick and glue then form to the threads of the screw. I've not had a problem taking them out down the roar (just in case you were worried about that!) Jamie |

make sure u wax your screw before reinserting .
