Thought this was a cool guitar and the koa top is absolutely rippin' on this Schecter Custom Shop 7!

Not comfy to me at all, but I'm not used to playing 7-strings so I'm sure that's part of it. This neck looks like it's a similar size, but much nicer. I like the three piece construction and the volute looks comfortable. Can't argue with the oiled finish. The guitarist I knew who had the import Schecter sold it and bought an ESP. It has much more of an '80's shredder look (anybody remember those reverse headstocks?). I'm not a fan of the look, but the neck is more comfortable to play. |
