I hear ya guys!
I bet the seller just never got around to it and it's been sitting there forever. Maybe Ron can give us the 411 on this when he stumbles onto this thread. Me too on the firesuns. Just so damn cool! No doubt everyone in the industry wants to copy a cool design. Dots? Dots? I don't need no stinkin' Dots!!!!

That's an oldie. I probably inlaid that fretboard at least 7 years ago, maybe longer. I remember him being local and coming to pick it up at the old shop. I used that design on my Baker and that was 1999...this must have been around then too.
Was never a fan of fret the board before gluing it to a neck though. Always seem wrong. Any humps or bumps would have to be taken out on the fret tops. Maybe this is why so many Gibsons have low frets. |
