Above: This tele was for Ferder's CEO (I believe) Bill Schultz' 25th anniversary/retirement gift. Bill and a band of employees purchased Fender from CBS in '81/'82 IIRC. He retired last year so the Master Builders at Custom Shop all contributed a little something to this guitar. We got the inlay gig. Ron

Seems the only guitars I look at that aren't Fender have a T on them somewhere Seems as if your work is held in HIGH esteem by the Master Shop boys if you were selected to do the retiring CEOs personal guitar. I was still in high school and my great uncle(who did some business with Bill) knew I was into guitars and called him up and we got a tour from the man.

I love how the 'V' in the custom shop logo appears to be totally 3-D and points right out at you. The match lines are so tight you'd think it could prick your finger. Or what was it that George Carlin said so many years ago?.....
