I have a weird emotional connection to these guitars. I remember the days that I spec'd them out, right down to what the weather was like outside. I also remember the day that 132 was completed, and the excitement I felt when I opened the case for the first time. I remember having gigs at the Webster in Hartford that weekend, and playing phenomenal "in the zone" shows with the guitar, right out of the gate. Over the past 2 years, the guitar has become somewhat of a good luck charm. I always bring it along in "high pressure" situations. She has never let me down.
El Matador gets plenty of love as well. I've recently started to "re-discover" what this guitar is capable of, and I've been playing this one ALOT more as of late.
So much has changed in my life between the time I ordered them, the time they were completed, and the present time. The guitars represent permanent milestone markers in my life, aside from being phenomenal instruments. Maybe it has to do with the build time and the wait, or maybe I'm just nuts?
